The MacDonald Hotel & Cabins is a privately owned business and we took the business over in January 2014. Our brand essence is ‘Home from Home’ and we offer casual drinking, eating and sleeping in a relaxed environment, and good value accommodation with personal touches.

We promote a friendly team atmosphere and want your time with us to be fun, friendly and fulfilling. We offer paid breaks, team meals and a discount on meals bought in the hotel.

Many of our positions are seasonal, but there is always the possibility that these can become more permanent as the business grows.

We are currently recruiting for the following positions, and offer competitive rates of pay for the right candidates.

Seasonal Bar/Waiting Team Members

We have both full and part time positions available, these roles will involve a variety of shifts over the week and can be flexible.

Your main aim will be to serve guests by providing information to help food and beverage selection; present ordered choices; maintain dining ambiance and build a rapport. Read full Job Description

Seasonal Housekeepers

We have both full and part time positions available. Housekeeping is a straight shift role from 9.30-3.30pm, it will involved weekend work.
